AS400 is a line of mid-range servers that includes IBM's OS400 operating system (known today as IBM i) and IBM's DB2/400 Database (known today as DB2 for IBM i), and a bundle of applications and programs. The AS400 system was designed for businesses of all sizes, and is still a popular choice today (now called IBM i, iSeries or IBM Power Systems) because of it's enduring legacy of security, reliability and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) capabilities.
