Provides support for up to 40 active 5250 type displays and printers. A cable with an 8-port expansion box comes with the adapter. Each port supports seven attached devices allowing for 56 attached devices of which only 40 can be active.

#2746 is specified when additional PCI twinaxial workstation controllers are required and a #5065 Storage/PCI Expansion Tower, or a #5066 1.8M I/O Tower is available.

Card slots required:

Low-speed slot in a #503X Migration Tower I, or in the #5064/#9364 with #9329.

High-or low-speed slot in the #5064/#9364 with #9330, or in the #5065 or #5066.

#5065/#5066 with a supported slot available under a #2824.

Includes a 20-foot attachment cable and 8-port breakout box.
