The 9009-41G S914 with EP50 4-core processor has maximum of 52,500 CPW (13,125 CPW per core for IBM i workloads) with all processors active, and supports IBM i, AIX and Linux server workloads. It uses a typical 2.3 to 3.8 GHz Power9 EP50 Processor Card. The IBM Power9 EP50 4-Core processor cannot be upgraded to increase the cores like other Power9 processor models. The 9009-41G is powered entirely by fourth generation PCIe architecture (slots, switches and lanes), supporting up to 14 NVMe devices for mission critical applications and I/O intensive workloads.  The 9009-41G-EP50 S914 system is the only Power9 in a P05 software tier price group. The 4-core S914 9009-41G server only supports the EM62 16 GB and EM60 8 GB Power9 Memory features. View other Power9 9009-41G models that support up to 1TB of main storage. The 9009-EP50 and EP50 4-Core models are the only Power9 systems that do not support attaching an EXP24SX or EXP12SX I/O expansion drawer or the IBM EMX0 PCIe adapter drawer.

The S914 9009-41G 4-core Power9 server supports a maximum of 10 Power9 Disk Drives or 10 SSDs or a combination of 10 HDDs and SSDs in the system unit. This is true with any of the storage backplane options selected. The Power9 S914 model 9009-41G pricing depends on the configuration of the server. Each S914 9009-41G system comes custom configured based on customer requirements, including number of active cores and processers, disk drives and SSDmemory, storage, OS400 version release, licensed IBM programs, and number of concurrent users. Power9 Memory

Two processor socket Power9 servers have 32 DDR4 memory slots, providing a maximum of 4TB of main storage, and single processor socket systems have 16 memory slots for a maximum of 2TB.
