IBM 3996-080 Optical Library

The IBM 3996 Model 080 Gen 2 has the capability of holding up to 80 optical discs with a total storage capacity of up to 4.8 TB. The Model 080 has two 60 GB optical disc drives with an option of increasing to four drives. Adding two more drives reduces the number of disc slots to 72, resulting in a capacity of up to 4.32 TB. Adding two additional optical drives to this model reduces the total storage capacity of the 3996 by 480 GB.
