IBM ESNK Disk Drive is formatted for 4096 byte sectors with IBM ESNK feature code for IBM AIX and Linux Server workloads, and can be reformatted to 4224 byte sectors for IBM i workload with IBM ESNJ feature code, providing 283GB capacity. The IBM 5B41 Disk Drive includes enhanced caching capability with 256MB DRAM, which may improve performance compared to previous disk drives without the cache.
