IBM POWER9 LC921 9006-12P EKP7 40-core 2.13 GHz Linux server hardware can have up to two sockets for 40-cores, supports up to 1TB of DDR4 memory in 16 RDIMM main storage slots, up to 40 TB of HDD or 15.2 TB of SSD storage, includes four PCIe slots (including three CAPI 2.0), two redundant, hot swappable power supplies and many other features for a 1U 19-inch rack mount chassis. The IBM POWER9 9006-12P LC921 Linux servers were built for heavy IO, compute intensive workloads, can scale up efficiently and with a small price tag.
