IBM ESFF 59E5 ESFF 600GB Disk Drive 15K RPM SAS SFF-3 4K Block

The IBM ESFF is a 600GB 2.5-inch Small Form Factor (SFF) 15k rpm SAS disk drive with a Gen-3 carrier tray, and has IBM 59E5 CCIN and 00E9968 00E9974 part numbers. The IBM 59E5 600GB Disk Drive is supported in SFF-3 SAS bays and formatted for 4096 byte sectors. If reformatted to 4224 byte sectors, capacity would be 571 GB for a different IBM OS type requirement.

Limitations: IBM 59E5 cannot be used in EXP24S SFF Gen2-bay Drawer because of physical difference of carrier/tray. IBM 59E5 cannot be combined in the same array as a drive of the same capacity, but using different sector size.
