#4533 is a DVD-RAM drive that uses cartridgeless media only. This is different from the #4530 DVD-RAM which can use cartridge media. However, media can be removed from a cartridge to be used in this drive. Media support includes writing DVD-RAM only, and reading CD-ROM, CD-R, DVD-ROM, and DVD-RAM.

This feature requires OS/400 V5R2, plus updates. Refer to Information APAR II13797 at:
