3586-8203 - IBM Power6 E4A 69 GB 3.5 SAS Solid State Drive SSD
The IBM 3586 69GB 3.5" SAS Solid State Drive (SSD) provides 69.7 GB of high performance storage (3Gb/sec or 300MB/sec), much faster than spinning hard disk drives. IBM 3586 69GB 3.5" SAS Solid State Drive also provide lower power utilization than spinning or hard disk drives (HDD). The 3586 SSD drive is formatted to 69.7 GB and can be used by AIX & Linux Power systems. The IBM 3586 69GB 3.5" SAS Solid State Drive (#3586) and (#3587) for the iSeries are identical SSD drives, but have different feature codes for IBM configuration tools.
