00GH761 is the part number for an IBM AGKF LTO6 single port Fibre Channel Half-High Tape Drive that can be installed in an IBM TS4300Tape Library Model 3555, and has a maximum native data transfer rate of 160 MB per second. Note: The actual capacity varies depending on the application, the type of data, and the tape cartridge. 2.5 TB is typical and 6.25 TB is possible when the Data Compression setting is activated. LTO data transfer rates are also greatly improved when using compression. The default setting of Data Compression is controlled by the host system. The user and the application software can control the activation or deactivation of the data compression setting. The drive can typically achieve a 2.5:1 compression ratio.
