The IBM ESD1 is a 1.2TB 10K RPM SAS SFF-1 Disk Drive for AIX and Linux Power systems supported in Gen1 carrier and SFF-1 SAS bays such as provided in most IBM Power system units or the 5802 and 5803 I/O drawers. The IBM ESD1 disk drive has CCIN 59C8 and IBM PN 00E8614. The ESD1 Disk Drive is formatted for 512 byte sectors, but can be reformatted to 528 byte sectors and used by iSeries, AIX, Linux and VIOS. The IBM ESD1 Disk Drive is identical to the IBM ESD0 feature code for IBM i Power Systems, has the same 59C8 CCIN, but has IBM part number 00E8606.
