EM96-8286 IBM iSeries Power8 16GB DDR4 Memory

The EM96 is a 16GB DDR4 memory feature for POWER8 Systems.

This feature is similar to the EM91-8286 memory feature, except that it is in a low profile (or Half Height) configuration to be used in 2U machines.

Though this feature is designed to fit in 2U machines, it cannot be used in a 4U machine due to the different installation requirements.

This feature provides 16 GB DIMM, 1600MHZ, 4GBIT DDR4 DRAM

Limitations:

• DDR4 memory can not be mixed on the same server with DDR3 memory.
• Memory plugged in pairs (two identical feature codes). See server definition for any single CDIMM configuration exceptions for very entry 1-socket servers.
• Firmware 860, or later

• Attributes required: One CDIMM slot and firmware 860, or later
