IBM FlashSystem 5100 FS5100 2078-4H4 2077-4F4 Storage
IBM FlashSystem 5100 software-defined storage system that supports twenty-four 2.5-inch NVMe flash drives and can scale to 760 drives via 20 expansion units, and supports up to 1,520 drives clustered. The IBM FlashSystem 5100 is designed to consolidate workloads into a single storage system via virtualization that simplifies storage management, reduces costs, increases scalable capacity, improves performance and availability using NVMe technology. The IBM FS5100 Model 2078-4H4 is a small form factor SFF All-Flash storage system, and the 2077-4F4 is a hybrid flash configuration. The IBM FlashSystem 5100 features two node canisters with an 8-core Skylake processor in each and integrated hardware-assisted compression acceleration.
