LTO6 Tape Autoloaders

IBM 3573 L2U, TS2900, TS3100, TS3200 LTO6 tape autoloaders are designed for automated backups in small to midsize business environments. IBM LTO6 Tape Autoloader Drives deliver up to 140 MB/s transfer rates and provide 1.5TB raw capacity or 3TB of 2:1 compressed storage per Ultrium 5 tape. IBM LTO6 Tape Drives available for the 3573 L2U, TS3200, TS3100 and TS22900 autoloaders include: 8GB/s Fibre Channel Half-High Drives, 8GB/s Fibre Channel Full-High Drives, 6GB/s Dual-Port SAS Full-High Drives & 6GB/s SAS Half-High Drives. 

IBM LTO5 tape drives feature hardware-based data encryption capabilities and support write once, read many (WORM) cartridges to help protect your  data. LTO6 WORM cartridges allow you to store vital data in a non-erasable, non-rewritable format, while AES256 hardware encryption can securely store data to help ensure compliance for data at rest. The LTO6 tape drives are also the first LTO generation to introduce Media Partitioning & IBM Linear Tape File System, which allows LTO6 media to be divided into segments, improving accessibility by providing the ability to quickly locate data to retrieve or update.

IBM LTO5 Ultrium 6 Tape Autoloaders are supported on the following systems: IBM Power iSeries & AIX, zSeries, HP-UX, Sun, UNIX, Linux, and Windows servers.
