IBM 7063-CR1 HMC Product Specifications
7063-CR1 IBM Hardware Management Console (HMC) is a dedicated rack-mounted workstation that allows administrators to manage IBM i, AIX and Linux system resources running on Power9, Power8, Power7, Power6 and Power5 System processors (depending on the HMC codel level). The 7063-CR1 HMC includes terminal emulation and virtualization management features for configuring logical partitions (LPARs), dynamic resource allocation and Capacity Upgrade on Demand feature. The 7063-CR1 also has advanced service functions, such as guided Repair and Verify, concurrent firmware updates for managed systems, and around-the-clock error reporting with Electronic Service Agent for faster support. IBM customers can use IBM 7063-CR1 Power System HMC in combination with other hardware-based or virtual HMCs.
