IBM iSeries 1124 DAT160 SAS half-high tape drive 80/160 GB
IBM 1124 80/160 GB DAT160 SAS tape drive is a 3.5-inch half-high, SAS tape drive that provides up to 6MBps native mode for save/restore functions on IBM Power7 & Power8 systems. The IBM 1124 tape drive uses IBM DAT160, 4 mm data cartridges and provides up to 160GB with 2:1 compression ratio. The 1124 is also referenced by IBM PN: 46C2215 or 46C2691 and CCIN: 63A0. An IBM Power system can't have both a IBM 1124 80/160 GB DAT160 SAS tape drive and 1123 USB Internal Docking Station for Removable RDX Disk Drive. One or the other can be on the system. A minimum of 1 x feature 1106 or feature 1107 must be ordered with each feature 1124 ordered. The IBM 1124 80/160 GB DAT160 SAS tape drive is only available as refurbished or used condition as of February 14, 2014.
