IBM 3581 H17 Ultrium 1 HVD SCSI 7 Slot Autoloader

The IBM 3581 Model H17 has seven cartridge slots, 0.7 TB data capacity (native), 1.4 data capacity (comp.), and one Ultrium tape drive. The H13 Model is equipped with a High-Voltage Differential (HVD) Ultra SCSI interface. 3581 H17 is technically identical to 3581 H13. IBM offered a standard 3 year warranty on the H13 and used a different model number to distinguish it from the H17 which only came with a 1 year warranty. IBM discontinued production of the H13 and H17 on 10/01/2004 so the manufacturer's warranty is no longer relevant.

Maximum data transfer rates are 15MB/Sec native and 30MB/Sec if 2:1 compression is achieved.
